Follow the Bears. Fly with us!

With more than 30 years of experience, we are a trusted bear-viewing operator based in Homer, Alaska, offering unforgettable brown bear viewing experiences in Katmai National Park — from the iconic Brooks Falls to surrounding remote wilderness areas. Traveling by DeHavilland Otter floatplane, we don’t just visit bear country; we follow the bears throughout the season, moving as they move to provide the best possible viewing. Every trip is thoughtfully planned, expertly guided, and guaranteed to include bears.

Our season moves with the bears. June takes us to remote coastal areas for true wilderness adventures. In July, we transition to Brooks Falls, one of the world’s most infamous bear-viewing destinations — with maintained paths, viewing platforms, and ranger support that make it an excellent option for families with young children and guests seeking a less physically demanding experience without sacrificing incredible wildlife encounters. In August, we head to the remote Moraine Creek area for quiet, up-close creekside bear viewing. As summer winds down, we return to Brooks Falls in late August and September as the bears gather there once again.

No matter the month, our goal is the same: to give you a safe, respectful, and truly extraordinary encounter with one of the most remarkable animals on Earth, in the place they belong.
